How to Add Navigation Bar With Page Links (Option 2) to ClickFunnels

Welcome back!

Last post we discussed how it totally SUCKS that if you have animations on your page and you set up the navigation bar using the original and clean method, the animations won’t show and you’re kinda… screwed…

Well, not to worry.

There is another way you can set up navigation bars, and I will tell you how in this post.

1) Log into your ClickFunnels account and go to edit mode on the page you want to edit (I finally decided to merge steps 1 and 2 ;p).

2) You will need to add columns. In this option, the number of buttons you need is the number of columns you need to set up. So if you need to setup 4 menu options, you need to add a ‘4-column row’.

3) In each column, you need to add a ‘button’ to each element, which is 2nd bottom from the top right.

We have done it. We have now set up all of our buttons to be visible.

Now we need to  actually LINK those buttons to the area we want them to scroll down to.

4) Count how many areas you want to be scrolled down to. For example, if I want my buttons to scroll down to ‘testimonials’, ‘about us’, and ‘contact’, I need 3 buttons and therefore those are my 3 areas.

5) Go to each area and name it accordingly. So I will name my testimonial area ‘testimonials’, my about us area ‘about us’, etc… You can name your section by clicking on the gear icon of the corresponding area and changing the name on the top right of the page.

6) Click the gear icon of the button you want to scroll a particular area of your page.

7) In the ‘URL/ACTION’ part of the options for that button, delete everything and type in ‘#’.

8) When you click on that area now, your options should pre-populate for you. Select where you want that button to scroll to. If you want your ‘testimonial’ button to scroll to testimonials, you should type in or select ‘#scroll-testimonials’.

After you do that, that’s it.

Do the same thing for every other button, and upon clicking that button, it will SCROLL down to the corresponding part of your page.

The difference between this option and the first, is that this option SCROLLS to your part of the page, as opposed to simply instantly appearing on it.

It may not look AS delicious as the first option, but it is more effective if you have animations set to ‘on scroll’.

Make sure to check out my next post, where I show you how to add animations to anything in ClickFunnels to increase that user engagement!
